This place was very cozy and beyond reasonable. I liked that checkout is at 12 and I didn't feel like I had to rush out. I would definitely stay here again, if in the area.

Great Stay at East Norwich Inn – Perfect for My Trip to New York I stayed at the East Norwich Inn while in New York for a Jiu-Jitsu competition, and my experience was excellent. I’ll be honest — I was a bit concerned at first after reading some negative reviews, but everything turned out much better than expected. The hotel delivered exactly what was advertised. There’s no breakfast, but that’s clearly stated in the booking, so it wasn’t a surprise. The place is clean, well-kept, and the housekeeping staff does a great job keeping everything tidy, including the bathrooms. We were a group and booked five rooms — all were in great condition, clean, and comfortable. The rooms are quiet and dark, perfect for resting after a long day. The staff was very kind and helpful, both before and during our stay, and communication was easy. The location worked perfectly for us. Right across the street there’s a great place for breakfast called East Norwich Bagel, plus a nearby market. It was also easy to order food through Uber Eats, and there’s an ATM close by. I definitely recommend the East Norwich Inn — just make sure you know what you’re booking. It’s an Inn, so it’s meant mainly for sleeping and resting, not for luxury amenities or full-service facilities. If you value cleanliness, comfort, and convenience at a fair price, this hotel is a great choice.

Comfy king size bed! Spacious room, good price, and near a wedding venue we were going to. Also, conveniently located walking distance to a bagel shop, Greek restaurant, and a nice Italian restaurant. Nice that they had a fridge in the room, and a comfy chair to sit in. We appreciated the table lights and standing lamp for a nicer ambiance than overhead lighting. There is a microwave available for use in an old breakfast room near the entrance lobby.

A historical gem. Memorabilia covers the walls and the hallways are majestic. Staff is focused on performing their jobs to the utmost of their abilities. I really enjoyed the accommodations and being able to stay in such a historical lodge.

It's an iconic spot-formerly owned by Burt Bacharach Yes, it's dated and could use some upgrades but it was clean, comfortable, and felt safe. Great location. Wonderful steakhouse next door. The staff was pleasant and it was a quiet place. Worth the money spent (affordable).
